SoftWright is pleased to make all SoftWright file format specifications for digital elevation models available to our customers. This will facilitate you making your own file format conversions to run any digital terrain data in the Terrain Analysis Package (TAP) software. If data files are not available from SoftWright, we can generally convert files from other private sources to run directly on TAP. In addition, TAP will import ASCII files prepared by you or allow you to enter elevations read directly from a topographic map in order to perform these studies. We also have considerable experience in the preparation of digital elevation models (DEMs) directly from paper topographic maps in areas where DEMs are not readily available. If we receive copies of the maps, we can prepare an exact cost for the preparation. |
