How much do I need to spend?
In order to get the maximum benefit from our software you need to purchase both elevation data files and design software. You can purchase a few software modules and selected area of topography and then at a later date add to your TAP system with both additional software modules as well as additional topographic data files.
Software to calculate and plot radio predictive studies can range from $1210 to over $21,000. Most of our customers who want to plot radio are coverage maps spend approximately $4400 to $6000 on software, selecting various combinations of modules that they need to do the specific work with which they are tasked.
If you wish to plot the terrain in 3-D, you will need to add approximately $522`for the 3D Display Module to add this capability. To see a short video of this module click here.
The cost for topography data depends upon the resolution of the data that you select and the size of the geographic area over which you need data.
Three second USA data on floppy disk cost $45 for one block (a square degree of latitude and longitude). A single CD-ROM covering approximately 20% of the continental USA costs $450. We have also produced CD-Roms of all the available high-resolution 30 meter data throughout the USA. They cover large regions and cost $750 each. The best resolution for the entire US is the 1-second data at $150 each. There is a substantial discount for purchase of the entire USA.
