Evaluation Coverage Study

This radio propagation coverage study is prepared for the sole purpose of assisting you in evaluating SoftWright LLC’s Terrain Analysis Package (TAP) software for a particular system.  The results of the study are the property of SoftWright LLC.  You may use the results of the study only for the purpose of determining the suitability of the TAP software for your application.  Using the results of the study for any other purpose or providing the results to any other person other than those within your company who are a part of the evaluation is not permitted.

The computed results are prepared using the assumptions listed below and the facility technical specifications that you provide for the study.  The actual radio coverage will be different under other conditions.

SoftWright LLC does not provide consulting services.  This evaluation study is not intended for use in making decisions about the suitability of any radio system for providing service to a particular area.  The results of this evaluation study provide information based on general parameters about the facilities, equipment and conditions involved.  Actual specific conditions that affect the radio coverage can and should be adjusted for more precise modeling when you are using your licensed copy of the TAP software, but are not necessarily included in this evaluation study:

Filling out this form and requesting an evaluation study indicates that you have read and understood and agree to these conditions.

The study will be computed for a rectangular area centered on the base station, assuming an omnidirectional transmitting antenna.  The calculations will be based on a mobile unit with a 0dBd antenna and the input requirements specified below.  The coverage will be plotted using the specified mobile, as well as additional losses of 15dB and 30dB to account for body and building losses.
